Join us for this year’s Fourth of July observance, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery’s annual Red, White, and Boonshoft holiday celebration.
This year’s annual Independence Day festivities run the entire week from Monday, June 28 to Sunday, the 4th of July!
This year’s celebration week will include the best seat in town for spectacular indoor fireworks shows in the Museum’s Caryl D. Philips Space Theater.

There will also be hands-on activities including a coloring page and lots and lots of science fun for younger visitors. Make sure you stop by the zoo for themed decorations and enrichment and catch a special presentation after each Science on a Sphere show!
Guests will enjoy fun and informative themed programming that will be featured throughout the week. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet some of our new ambassador animals and revisit some of their beloved Discovery Zoo favorites on hand to meet and greet guests.
